My best friends couldn’t stop raving about her. They met her at a friend’s party and all called to tell me how much they liked her. For all the ladies out there, you know someone must be cool when other women can’t stop saying how great another woman is. And when I met Lindsey, I totally got it. She’s literally oozing with loveliness. She’s perfectly quiet and humble but still manages to radiate friendliness and warmth. This makes my heart happy because she happened to marry an old friend of mine who is one of the best.guys.out.there. Literally. And so this wonderful guy met this wonderful girl and they lived happily ever after. And I got to photograph it all. Hooray!

We arrived at Renaissance Country Club to find a gorgeous day (perfect clouds thank you very much) and these adorable, perfectly lined up carts. I really wanted to take one for a spin.

It was nice to beat the ladies to the club because I had a few minutes to shoot the man stuff. I NEVER get to shoot the man stuff so it was an extra treat. Stef snagged this gorgeous staircase shot that I adore.

Stef then took the men to their room and got some great photos of the guys. I love seeing what happens with the men.

I took some time with the ladies while they organized themselves and started getting ready.

I really enjoyed how quietly Lindsey moved … slow little moments, very calm … really enjoyable to watch and photograph.

And I never get tired of doing a signature BA Photo shot – the bridesmaids seeing the bride for the first time. It started at Lauren & Tim’s wedding and has become a bride favorite!

Lindsey – you are beautiful … inside + out! (but this photo sure shows your outside gorgeousness!) Thanks to F as in Flowers for the gorgeous details.

Lindsey + Brett decided to do a first look. Ahhh. Siggghhh. LOVE. First looks make me so happy.

And you know what makes my heart so happy? I asked them what their favorite moment of the day was … and here’s what they said.

The church was beautiful and the ceremony went off flawlessly.

They left lots of time for bridal and family photos. Please + thank you!

We made Lindsey + Brett tramp through the woods … all the while in her Badgley Mischka shoes. haha. She seriously was the coolest bride.

Giving us lots of time to shoot also means we have ample time for shooting details … and we all know I love me some details.

Lindsey’s dad and the best man gave fabulous speeches. Her dad put together a slideshow and a personally written song. Everyone was teary watching it.

This is for Lindsey + her dad.

I’m ending this post with a collage of dance photos … happy, crazy, silly moments!
