My first reaction when pulling up at Eastern Connecticut State was, “Stephanie, where’s your mom?” Stephanie’s mom is a photographer and came to the meeting last year when we all met for the first time. As I told Stephanie, her mom is awesome. She’s enthusiastic, excited about photos, excited about the wedding but happy to step aside and let do my thing. (I LOVE moms like this!)
Stephanie and Mark’s love began at Eastern Connecticut State and when we planned our session together, I couldn’t have imagined what we’d walk into that day. The trees were bursting with blooms and these perfectly overcast skies were waiting for us. We’d all been on edge watching the weather reports because the rain kept coming on and off the forecast. This session was one of those times where every single detail all worked into place (and Stephanie and Mark you know how many of these little details all just worked!). I’m anxiously awaiting this summer to watch you say “I do” and celebrate together! xoxo

When Stephanie showed me her second outfit, I was pretty pumped because I have a small obsession with knee-high boots. Then we turned the corner and I saw these trees and I flipped out. Just ask my partner, Steffi, who almost got knocked over because I was squealing and shrieking. All three of them looked at me like I was a crazy lady.

Seriously, I’m still dreaming about those trees.
We ended our day in front of this building … awesome architecture and cool color.
